Haku faced some difficulties falling asleep lately. And staying asleep.

He was using his phone late at night. Right before bed.

And that was a problem!

Blue light disrupts melatonin production for up to four hours. Which makes it way harder to fall asleep and stay asleep.

Here are a few hacks Haku used to fall asleep faster!

  1. Dim the lights one to two hours before bedtime to create a relaxed atmosphere

  1. Use warm lighting in the evening. Even better, use a red light. Plus it’s a cool vibe.

  1. Install blue light filters on your devices (example: f.lux on your laptop) and consider blue light-blocking glasses.

  1. Limit screen time at least an hour before bed and blackout your bedroom.
